Instructions to make Fabulous Moutabak:
- Fry the onions in vegetable oil until soft then add the ground meat with black pepper, allspice, cinnamon and salt.
- Leave on medium heat with continuous mixing until the meat is done for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and keep aside to cool then add the tomatoes, parsley, celery and the beaten eggs. Mix well the filling ingredients well.
- Get two of the rectangular dough sheets and place them on top of each other so they form a cross shape. Place 1 tablespoon of filling and close the opposing ends of the dough sheets together to form a square.
- When all the sheets are filled and shaped into squares, place them in an oven tray with a little oil.
- Bake on medium heat of 160 degrees until golden and done on both sides, or for about 20 minutes.
